This falls in the field of statistical analysis with an emphasis on\u00a0dimensionality reduction for\u00a0building a more suitable representation for the data. Besides other applications such as humanoid robotics, I have applied dimensionality reduction techniques\u00a0in two main areas of\u00a0computer vision:\u00a0<strong>Shape Analysis and\u00a03D reconstruction<\/strong>.
