I am a PhD student of the\u00a0Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Group\u00a0at the CINVESTAV-Saltillo.\u00a0(Centre for Research and Advanced Studies) in Saltillo, Mexico. \u00a0My research interests are computer vision, machine learning, \u00a0statistical modeling, and applications of those fields in the real world.\u00a0Currently, my PhD studies are focused\u00a0on the application of computer vision in protected agriculture.<\/p>\n
About me<\/strong><\/p>\n I was born in Jerez, Zacatecas, M\u00e9xico. In 2013, I obtained my Masters Degree in Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing at the CINVESTAV, under the supervision of \u00a0Prof. Mario Castelan. My thesis work was focused on\u00a0human head orientation estimation using information from an\u00a0RGB-D sensor and statistical methods.
