Currently, I&#8217;m working under supervision of Professor Reyes R\u00edos-Cabrera.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About me<\/strong><br \/>\nI was born in Pinos, Zacatecas, Mexico. I finished my undergraduate studies in Electronics Engineering in 2010 at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas. I obtained the Master\u2019s degree in Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing in 2012 with the thesis \u201cDesign of\u00a0 synchronization strategies for formations development with mobile robots\u201d.<br \/>\nIn my PhD thesis project, I\u2019m working with two omnidirectional mobile manipulators equiped with RGB-D cameras. The main objective is that the robots can be capable of\u00a0recognizing different objects, with the help of\u00a0previous knowledge gotten from a 3D model. The robots must get information related to the object such as size, orientation, grasping zones, material, aproximate volume and its weigth in order to succesfully handle the object. My principal interests are robotics, artificial vision and automatic control.
