I am a PhD student of the Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Group at the CINVESTAV-Saltillo. (Centre for Research and Advanced Studies) in Saltillo, Mexico. My research interests are computer vision, machine learning, statistical modeling, and applications of those fields in the real world. Currently, my PhD studies are focused on the application of computer vision in protected agriculture.
About me
I was born in Jerez, Zacatecas, México. In 2013, I obtained my Masters Degree in Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing at the CINVESTAV, under the supervision of Prof. Mario Castelan. My thesis work was focused on human head orientation estimation using information from an RGB-D sensor and statistical methods. My Bachelor Degree was in Mechatonics Engineering at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Jerez.
