I am a PhD student of the Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Group at the CINVESTAV-Saltillo. Currently, I’m working under supervision of Professor L. Abril Torres-Méndez.
About me
I was born in Ébano, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. I finished my undergraduate studies in Electronics Engineering in 2009 at the Technological Institute of Ciudad Madero (Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico). I obtained the Master’s degree in Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing in 2012 with the thesis “MIMO Dynamic System Modeling Based on Support Vector Regression”.
In my PhD thesis project, I’m working in the development of an active vision system based on mirror optics for underwater autonomous vehicles. The main objective is to expand the AUV’s peripheral-vision and to develop strategies for improving navigation for the exploration of static objects under water.
